Minister announces DHB Board appointments

Hāpai applaud those who have been elected to represent our District Health Boards across Aotearoa. A special mention to a number of Māori Leaders in Health including Sharon Shea, Morris Pita, Dr. Matire Harwood, George Ngatai, Gwen Te Pania-Palmer, Tania Hodges, Ta Mark Solomon, Oriana Paewai, and especially our Whaea Tariana Turia.
It is also great too see Dr Lester Levy representing all three Auckland DHB’s which we see benefit in providing a regional approach to our Tamaki Makaurau DHB governance, which fits well with Hāpai’s regional approach to Māori Public Health.
