"Kaipouhere - Hauora Service Planner"

Hapai Te Hauora Tapui, Maori Public Health has a fulltime (1 FTE) vacancy for a Kaipouhere - Services Planner. The successful applicant must be able to build and maintain relationships across the health sector, have a strong understanding of population health - in particular Maori Public Health and hauora and have the ability to plan, monitor, deliver and report on hauora services in a manner that contributes positively to providers. The position will take a regional perspective and will include Maori and non-Maori organisations. Emphasis will be working regionally with our shareholders (Te Whanau o Waipareira, Raukura Hauora o Tainui and Te Runanga o Ngati Whatua) and any other organisations we sub-contract with.

All service planning and provision will be undertaken with the following Hapai Te Hauora Tapui goals at the forefront:

  • Leadership - Strengthening the hauora workforce through leading and developing innovative, strategic, operational training packages.
  • Innovation - Evidence, planning, research, evaluation, quality and technology are weaved throughout service planning.
  •  Whanaungatanga - Relationship building through manaaki, tautoko and aroha are central to the delivery of service planning. Relationships with stakeholders are key to ensuring best practice.

"Kairangahau - Researcher"

Hapai Te Hauora Tapui, Maori Public Health has a fulltime (1 FTE) vacancy for a Kairangahau - Researcher. The successful applicant must be able to build and maintain relationships across the health sector, have a strong understanding of population health - in particular Maori Public Health and hauora and have the ability to assist in innovative evidence based programme planning, monitoring and evaluation of the service delivery at all levels between Hapai and its constituent shareholder organisations, Te Whanau O Waipareira, Raukura Hauora O Tainui and Te Runanga O Ngati Whatua. You will be able to develop and implement a research, evaluation and quality improvement strategy for Hapai for the next 5 years.

All research will be undertaken with the following Hapai Te Hauora Tapui goals at the forefront:

  • Leadership - Innovative research strategy for local, regional and national hauora environment.
  • Innovation - Innovative evaluation strategy for local, regional, and national hauora service delivery.
  •  Whanaungatanga - Innovative quality improvement strategies for all Hapai and whanau whanui service delivery.
